Manlio Collavini from Collavini Wines and Well Known Dog Trainer Tamar Geller have put together a benefit called Operation Heroes & Hounds.
Operation Heroes and Hounds matches animal- shelter dogs with returning warriors of the U.S. Armed Services who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. As a result, service members gain a renewed sense of purpose, confidence and life skills to aid their transition back into society while shelter dogs learn canine good manners, experience unconditional love and have an increased chance of adoption into a forever home.
What a great Benefit to help our wounded soldiers deal with their life changes while offering a shelter dog a chance at a new life. Together they will overcome their needs of love and companionship.
