Will Your Nonprofit Animal Organization Be One Of The Four Vetericyn Loves Animals Charity Giveaway Winners

Help Your Favorite Animal Nonprofit Win a Year's Supply of Vetericyn

Nominations Open Today for Innovacyn’s Fourth Annual “Vetericyn Loves Animals” Charity Giveaway

Six lucky animal nonprofit organizations will win prizes, including a year’s supply of Vetericyn Wound and Skin Care products, thanks to Innovacyn’s fourth annual “Vetericyn Loves Animals” charity giveaway. Innovacyn announced that the nomination period for the online contest opens today and runs through September 21. To nominate an organization, go to theVetericyn website or submit via Twitter or Instagram – simply snap a photo and post it with the charity name, city, and hashtag #VetericynLovesCharity. Voting will take place on the Vetericyn Facebook page and Vetericyn website from September 24 through October 15, with winners announced on October 17.

In 2013, the 129 nominated groups received more than 32,000 votes. Innovacyn donated Vetericyn products to every nominated group. “Our goal is to support and raise awareness of the amazing organizations and volunteers who work tirelessly to improve the lives and health of homeless animals,” said Tabitha Cromer, marketing communications manager for Innovacyn.
In addition to receiving Vetericyn products, the winning organizations will also be awarded prizes from contest supporters Clinton Anderson’s Downunder Horsemanship, Cesar Millan, Bio-Groom, Whimzees, Three Dog Bakery, Thunderworks, Tuggo, Cavalor, “I and love and you” Total Pet Care and New Age Pet. The first person to nominate each winning organization will also receive a prize package.
To be eligible for participation, nominated charities must serve animals and be located in a country where Vetericyn products are available (United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Russia, Finland, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia). Anyone can nominate an organization by going to the Vetericyn website during the nomination period and providing basic information about the group they support. A complete list of rules can be found here.
Organizations are divided into two categories – those that primarily serve small animals (cats, dogs, exotics, etc.) and those that serve large animals (horses, donkeys, etc.). At the end of the voting period, the three “large animal” and three “small animal” organizations with the most votes will be announced as winners on October 17.
Last year’s winners were Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue (Tehachapi, Calif.), The Joplin Humane Society (Joplin, Mo.), Suncoast Basset Rescue (Gainesville, Fla.), Beauty’s Haven Farm and Equine Rescue (Morriston, Fla.), RVR Horse Rescue (Riverview, Fla.), and Central Virginia Horse Rescue (Brodnax, Va.).
“So many of the dogs that come into the shelter are injured or at the very least have wounds generated from life on the streets. Vetericyn is the perfect treatment because it helps them heal, which makes them more adoptable,” said Zach Skow, founder of Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue. “Our rescue, our shelter, and our fosters use Vetericyn regularly, and it has made a huge difference in the lives of countless animals.”
