And now the company Centerplate has offered a mer hundred grand to a create a foundation in the name of Sade and they gave Desmond Hague

Surfer Dog Ricochet To Be The Ambassador For Life Rolls On, They Will Surf Again For People With Disabilities

SURF DOG RICOCHET ACCEPTS ROLE OF AMBASSADOR FOR LIFE ROLLSON “THEY WILL SURF AGAIN” PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILTIES

Ricochet was surprised with the perfect anniversary gift today!! She was asked to become an an ambassador for Life Rolls On, They Will Surf Again (TWSA) program for people with disabilities.

Ricochet has been supporting Life Rolls On for the last five years But, this new role gives her the opportunity to surf with participants and be part of the mission. It’s a perfect collaboration that embodies the same purpose of inspiring, bringing people together and changing lives.

Ricochet was named an Ambassador for Life Rolls On by Founder and Executive Director, Jesse Billauer. “It's an honor and a privilege to have Ricochet as an ambassador for Life Rolls On. The pure joy that she brings to the beach is everything that we stand for. The inspiration that she provides is truly a priceless experience for not only our adaptive surfers, but for all of our volunteers as well. Welcome to the LROhana Ricochet!!!” said Billauer.

When Billauer was 17 and on the verge of becoming a professional surfer, he was pushed headfirst into a shallow sandbar, fracturing his neck. Billauer sustained a C-6 complete spinal cord injury, which resulted in quadriplegia. He lost the ability to walk and had limited mobility of his arms and hands. Billauer left the hospital and immediately knew two things: he had to surf again and he had to help others be inspired to follow their passions.

With that, Life Rolls On was born with a mission to improve the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury. Their signature program, TWSA is a series of bi-coastal events that empowers paraplegics and quadriplegics to experience the freedom of mobility by riding a wave with the assistance of adaptive equipment and the support of hard working volunteers.

As a Life Rolls On Ambassador, Ricochet will attend events and be another form of assistance to participants in and out of the water, while providing a unique and powerful kinship. She will also work to raise more awareness of spinal cord injuries, the TWSA program and adaptive surfing. She will focus her outreach on her large platform of social media followers in an effort to garner more support for Life Rolls On activities and mission. She will also fundraise from time to time in an effort to fulfill a specific need.

“Being asked if Ricochet could serve as a Life Roll’s On TWSA Ambassaor is truly an honor,” said Judy Fridono, Ricochet’s guardian. “The chance to make a greater difference in the lives of those with disabilities is not an opportunity that everyone is given and is one I have no intention of taking lightly. Helping others is something so inextricably linked with who Ricochet is, so deeply engrained in her soul and rooted in my heart that I can’t imagine an opportunity more exciting. I’m eager to see how Ricochet’s distinctive abilities will impact the lives of those she surfs and interacts with, as she is nurtured by the loving environment of Life Rolls On.”

Vintage Dogs is an E-commerce Pet Store with a difference. It only sells dogs and it only sells old ones. All of the dogs sold by Vintage Dogs are 15 years old or older. Older dogs are far better better behaved than younger ones. They are much cleaner. They no longer tend to “rub up against” house guests legs. By 15 they no longer usually urinate or defecate in the house. They are also much less likely to bite children. These dogs are “Vintage Dogs” and they are the future of pet owner luxury.

They even had a Chihuahua with an asking price of $5000.
I have a Chihuahua that will be going on nineteen years old and I wouldn't even sell my buddy for any amount.

Is Trifexis Deadly For Some Dogs

After reading an article by Jim Strickland today
this has got me worried about the use of Trifexis on my dogs after 965 dogs have died from using this product.

Yes some dog owners have said that it didn't harm their pets but there is no way I'm going to take that chance with my buddies.

Make sure you watch the video and see for yourself.

It's A Pig, No It's A Dog

I came across this video today and thought that it was pretty cool watching this dog play in the mud.

Basil Gets His Halo For The Blind With The Help From The Pet Business

Muffins Halo with Basil the blind rescue dog receives publicity thanks to the Mail online and ITV Yorkshire

Basil, the blind dog, has been featured across media in the UK and Europe and the Muffins Halo guide for blind and visually impaired dogs is spreading across the world to benefit blind dogs.

Basil, the blind rescue dog, with West Yorkshire dog rescue has helped to spread the word about how Muffins Halo can help blind and visually impaired dogs. He has become the poster boy for blind dogs and an incredible ambassador for those dogs who go blind at a young age. Basil was fitted with a Halo by The Pet Business and this has transformed his life. He is now able to enjoy life to the full without the risk of injury.

Basil is still looking for his forever home with another dog for company. He is confident, outgoing and very loving and playful. He will be a great companion for the right family.

Blind dogs like people deal with the onset of blindness differently, some are able to cope in their own homes as they are familiar surroundings and they know them, others are unable to do this and struggle to adapt. Muffins halo can help by ensuring the confident dog in their own home can still explore the outside world without risking injury. It can also help the dog who struggles and becomes depressed and anxious and unwilling to move.
Muffins Halo is designed to give dogs confidence to explore the world and to protect them from injury and to ensure that they are safe. It allows the dog to continue with daily life and whilst wearing it they can carry out daily activities including sleeping without the need to remove the halo.
Muffins Halo is lightweight comfortable and easy fit with adjustable Velcro straps. The halo helps the dog in the transition period to adapt to their blindness and to be safe and confident.
The halo is being recommended by veterinary ophthalmologists from around the world.
The halo comes in a number of designs it is available in white, red, blue and the new Quarterback and Butterfly designs.
