Dead Soldiers Dog And Dog Fighting Raid

You’re serving your county while deployed in Afghanistan thinking that your wife is taking care of your dogs. Well that’s not what happened to this soldier whose wife Britney Davis is now facing three charges of cruelty to animals for neglecting their dogs.

By the time the police and the Lawton Animal Control Officers were finally able to get into the Davis’s house they found one of the dogs had died and one of them so undernourished from having no food.

Lawton, Oklahoma Police Capt. Craig Akard said: It didn't appear that anybody had been in the house in awhile, apparently the dogs were just running through the house, it was dirty, there were feces everywhere, it was very filthy.

How cruel is that to finally come home and find out that your wife has killed your dog.

The Police in Claiborne County had made a raid on a large scale dog fighting ring and they were able to save fourteen dogs while arresting more than two dozen of these animal abusers.

The home was owned by Brian Eggleston who was one of many arrested and more to be added to the list as per the Sheriff Frank Davis. Hopefully they will be able to find all those who were involved for what they did to these poor dogs.

Caught With Video Showing His Dog Fighting

It’s bad enough to let your dog fight but this dog abuser named Carl Frederick Wilson Florida was arrested for having a video showing his dog fighting with another dog.

Carl Frederick Wilson has been charged with baiting and using animals for purpose of fighting along with other charges. This abuser seems proud about having his dog fighting other dogs.

What a sick person this is to allow his dog to fight to the death and be harmed is such away. I hope the judge looks at this video before his sentences this animal abuser.

Rachael Ray Does It Again For The Dogs

This year Rachael Ray will be donating one hundred percent of the sales of her Nutrish and Just 6 lines of pet food with a total of Seven Hundred and Seventy Five Thousand Dollars to animal shelter worldwide.

Rachael Ray tells PEOPLEPets.com. People are choosing whether or not they can feed an animal and their family. And every shelter coast to coast is stuffed. My husband and I can sleep at night knowing that our small space is probably wrong for a lot of animals, but we can maybe inspire people who have space to bring a lot of animals home, It's us trying to problem solve that very discussion, Why can't we do more?

So What Are The Animal Cruelty Laws Anyway

I was always wondering what the punishment was for animal cruelty in different states. Well there are four states that don’t even recognize animal cruelty as a felony and they are Idaho, Mississippi, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Mississippi has the least amount of jail time of six months while Alabama and Louisiana having the maximum time of ten years for those who are convicted. Colorado has the highest fines of five hundred thousand dollars while Tennessee has no fines.

While only fourteen states can ban you from owning another animal and seven states given personal protection order.
These statutes are as of November second two thousand and ten.
