Pet Care Company Gives New State-of-the-Art Wheelchair to Rescue Dog to Kick-Off American Humane's National Adopt-A-Dog Month (October).

Amherst, NH, October 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- HandicappedPets.com helped American Humane kick off Adopt-a-Dog month on October 1 by adopting a wheelchair-bound rescue dog named Lucy as its mascot and giving her a new Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair. Lucy, a dog injured and left to die in Puerto Rico, received the new state-of-the-art Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair to replace the duct-taped model she arrived in – and became HandicappedPets.com’s poster dog.
