Dachshund Finds Great Grandmother’s Wallet Missing For 60 Years

Oven in Herrin ,Illinois a nine year old Dachshund named Bagon was out digging around in the back yard when he discovered a wallet that has been missing for the last sixty years.
Betty Burgess the dogs owner said: that the wallet had belonged to her mother in law and that it still contained a Social Security card, a coal miner's card for Tillie's husband, Obediah, a 1949 calendar, Betty Crocker coupons, newspaper clippings and two rings in the change purse. One of the rings had mother engraved on it and the other was Tillie's birthstone and children's birthstones.
Betty Burgess granddaughter, Kelly Sealy said: There was also a picture of my uncle, Steve Burgess, who was only 4 years old at the time.

Wow if that story doesn’t make you feel good, I don’t know. Dogs are amazing when you think about it and to make a find like this is also amazing. I’ll bet this has brought back many great memories to Betty Burgess when she opened the wallet.
