Last year a grapefriut size lipoma was removed from his abdomen. Now he has a large mass that by xray looks like a lipoma. The bone is in good shape except the tumor is affectin the femur head position, causing a limp at time only.
Are you enrolling for the next phase of your trial?
While it is off label, if I injected him with Xiaflex would it have an affect.
Thanks Stacy
ThanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8423831399498132910.post-87280168382679793572011-05-05T06:40:10.376-07:002011-05-05T06:40:10.376-07:00Hi Anonymous,Here are two links that will help you...Hi Anonymous,Here are two links that will help you understand a little more about the lumps.

http://vetmedicine.about.com/cs/dogdiseasesl/a/lipomas.htm ...

http://www.petmd.com/dog/general-health/evr_dg_lumps_and_bumps ....

I hope these will help you and I would also ask the vet to do a needle test to be sure.Dogman2https://www.blogger.com/profile/00270279462044950020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8423831399498132910.post-90923455930199737922011-05-04T23:01:28.603-07:002011-05-04T23:01:28.603-07:00Vet thinks it is soft, not too alarming, but attac...Vet thinks it is soft, not too alarming, but attached to muscle and in an uncomfortable spot. She didn't test the lump with a needle- she did take a regular blood sample to make sure internally Risto is ok- haven't heard anything back yet, so hopefully that's a good sign. I think it's really restricting him so i think I'll pay the $300-$400 dollars and get it removed... Any other input on this situation? Is it common? Are there preventative measures to take to avoid these lumps in the future? Any herbal remedies???Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8423831399498132910.post-3103042857539915422011-05-04T07:35:54.993-07:002011-05-04T07:35:54.993-07:00Hi Anonymous, I would take Risto to a Vet and have...Hi Anonymous, I would take Risto to a Vet and have the lump check out to be sure what your dog has.Dogman2https://www.blogger.com/profile/00270279462044950020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8423831399498132910.post-37920633023661165792011-05-04T03:34:03.092-07:002011-05-04T03:34:03.092-07:00Risto is a large great pyrenese/lab cross with a l...Risto is a large great pyrenese/lab cross with a lipoma lump on his front leg.
